order to better serve our clients, we will be adding classes as needed. If none
of the classes below fit your schedule, please contact the studio to see about
upcoming class times. Mat classes are drop-in, but due to limited space we
suggest calling ahead to reserve your spot. Equipment classes are sign up only.
New students must do an Evaluation lesson or have instructor approval prior to
joining an equipment class.

Descriptions
Introduction to Pilates
Equipment: This class is for the true beginner to Pilates. Focus will be on
learning the fundamentals of the pilates method. Class will work on both
reformer and pole system as well as basic matwork. New students must take this
class or 2 private sessions in order to join the other ongoing equipment
classes.
Mat-Beginning/Intermediate:
The essence of
all Pilates work, an aerobic series of floorwork exercises designed to create
uniform development; long, lean muscles; core strength and breath control. Class
geared towards those new to Pilates or those looking to create a foundation for
their Pilates study.
Mat-Intermediate/Advanced:An
aerobic series of floorwork exercises designed to create uniform development;
long, lean muscles; core strength and breath control. Class geared towards
experienced students looking to challenge their bodies and minds with more
complicated skills, more dynamic flowing movements, all at a faster tempo.
Reformer/Pole-Beginning/Intermediate:Small
group instruction on specialized equipment designed to assist the body in
performance of Pilates exercises. This class focuses on the reformer, the main
piece of equipment used in Pilates. Space permitting, instructor may also choose
to work on wall units/pole system. It is designed for the beginning or newer
student and will focus on the fundamentals of Pilates through the intermediate level
work.
Reformer/Pole-Intermediate/Advanced:
Small
group instruction on specialized equipment designed to assist the body in
performance of Pilates exercises. This class focuses on the reformer, the main
piece of equipment used in Pilates. Space permitting, instructor may also choose
to work on wall units/pole system. Students experienced with the beginning
Pilates exercises will challenge themselves with more complicated skills, and
more dynamic, flowing movements all at a faster tempo.
Reformer-Open: Challenge
yourself and enjoy the freedom of an independent workout under the supervision
of an experienced teacher or apprentice. For Intermediate or Advanced students
only.
Special Equipment Class-
benefit from the support of spring tension
to better develop resilient, powerful muscles; strong, smooth, decompressed
joints and potent core strength. Work on chair and wall/pole system. This class
is geared towards intermediate to more advanced students.
